Kevin joined Derivation in 2007. Previously he held IT Director roles at
Credit Suisse, HSBC, ABN Amro and SG Warburg working within Trading, Sales and Research
IT divisions.
His hobbies include long distance running and coaching children’s football.
Richard graduated from York University with a good degree in Computer Science, and
then trained as a Chartered Accountant, before spending 10 years as the Head of
Equity Derivatives IT at Nat West Markets & ABN Amro.
In 1996, Richard founded Derivation and now shares leadership of the company, with
his main emphasis being on the technical side.
His hobbies include swimming, sailing, squash, table tennis and playing music.
Laurence graduated from Manchester University with a first class degree in Computer
Science. Formerly Laurence worked within Derivatives IT at ABN Amro, before joining
Derivation in 1996.
His hobbies include walking, cycling and playing the piano.
Dave joined Derivation in 1996. Prior to that, Dave worked within Derivatives IT
at JP Morgan, ABN Amro and Volbroker.com.
Dave graduated from University of London with a BSc in Computer Science.
Cora joined Derivation in 2010 as the Regional Manager for Asia Pacific. Prior to that, Cora has
worked in Citi Hong Kong, responsible for the Openprime offering, Beauchamp white-labelled product,
for Citi prime brokage clients. She has also worked in various financial software providers where
she was equipped with hedge fund front-to-back office knowledge.
Cora is a qualified CFA and MBA. She graduated in Australia from the University of Melbourne with
double bachelor degree of Engineering and Commerce and the Master of Information Management
and System from Monash University.
In her spare time, Cora enjoys going wakeboarding, boxing and doing yoga.
David moved to New York in 2010 when Derivation opened their New York office. Prior to
this David joined Derivation in 2005 as a Quantitative analyst after graduating from Oxford
University with a Masters in Mathematics.
While working at Derivation David has obtained the CQF and PRM qualifications and is
currently pursuing the CFA designation.
His Hobbies include Badminton and distance running.
Craig joined Derivation in 2009; prior to that, he was a Vice President at
Morgan Stanley, working as a software solutions consultant within the Prime brokerage
division.
Previously, Craig has held positions at other financial software companies including
Tradar, where he was Sales Director and Pertrac Financial Solutions, where he was
a Senior Sales Executive. Craig graduated from Birmingham University with a BSc
in Economics and Finance.
In his spare time, Craig is a keen sportsman and enjoys skiing, playing golf and
football.
Tim heads up the global support team for Derivation. He joined the company in 2005
having spent 6 years managing a global support team for the technology firm Xaar
Plc.
During this time he gained commercial experience working within the EMEA, Asian
and North American regions.
Prior to Derivation, Tim graduated from Bristol University with a MSc in Computer
Science, in addition to a BEng in Manufacturing Enginerering from Aston University.
